Information for churches

If you have attended a Get in the Picture event and are looking for your photos and information about Christmas and services in your area please click here. The information provided on these pages is for churches and groups running events (though anyone is welcome to read it).

'Get in the Picture' is an excellent opportunity for the churches in your area to engage with the community, have a lot of fun and help others find out about the real meaning of Christmas. It's designed to be easy for you to run and other than a digital camera (and a computer) you won't need anything technical. Our team will answer any questions you have and even provide publicity cards for you to give out.

Whether you are a single church or a group of churches working together you will be able to make a difference this Christmas. The vision of this initiative is to see local churches or groups of churches building nativity scenes in their local shopping / tourist centres during Advent. Passers-by are encouraged to 'get in the picture' where a photo is taken. The participants are given an invitation to visit the Get In the Picture website to download their personalised Christmas scene.

Information about the meaning of Christmas and times of local services are made easily available to them when they download their picture from the website.
